What is the dosage and how should it be used?

Always take tropisetron exactly as directed by your doctor.

Tropisetron should be taken on an empty stomach. Your stomach is usually empty an hour before food or at least two hours after eating.

This medicine should start to work within one to two hours of taking a dose. If you are sick within one hour take the dose again.

If you are taking tropisetron to treat sickness caused by cancer chemotherapy or radiotherapy, a dose should be taken one to two hours before treatment and followed by another dose twelve hours later.

Never take more than the prescribed dose. If you suspect that you or someone else has taken an overdose of tropisetron contact your doctor or go to the accident and emergency department of your local hospital at once. Always take the container with you, if possible, even if it is empty.

This medicine is for personal use. Never give it to others even if their condition appears to be the same as yours.
